Feathers Ambassador Program – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility & Participation
- Ambassadors must be 18 years or older.
- Participation or redemption indicates full acceptance of these Terms.
- Benefits are non-transferable and may only be redeemed by the Ambassador registered in our system.
- Feathers may update, pause, or discontinue the Program at any time.
Ambassador Account Definition:
An “Ambassador Account” is the account registered with Feathers containing your name, contact information, and chosen payout method (cash or store credit). Only this account holder may receive Program rewards.
2. Ambassador Name Registration
- Ambassadors must register an “Ambassador Name” with Feathers before earning referrals.
- Only registered Ambassador Names are valid.
- Feathers may reject names that are duplicates, misleading, or inappropriate.
3. How Referrals Work
A referral is valid only when the following requirements are met:
- The referred customer is new to Feathers, not already in our system, and not previously associated with another Ambassador.
- The referred customer provides the Ambassador Name at the time of purchase. Referrals cannot be added retroactively.
- The customer completes a qualifying purchase.
Definition of a Qualifying Purchase
A qualifying purchase is:
- Any purchase of Feathers custom furniture of any dollar amount (made in the Feathers Showroom)
- Any item purchased in the showroom (excluding pop up shop items from other vendors in the Feathers Showroom)
- Any custom drapery (excluding installation)
Non-qualifying items are:
- Delivery and / or installation
- Pop up shop items sold by other vendors that are sold in the Feathers Showroom
- Consignment items
- Purchases made by a Feathers Ambassador (these do not count toward the Ambassador’s own referral credit threshold)
4. Handling Multiple Ambassadors for One Customer
If a customer provides more than one Ambassador Name:
- The customer must select one Ambassador.
- If the customer’s statements conflict, Feathers will award credit to the Ambassador who registered with the Program first.
- Ambassadors are not listed on invoices and cannot claim referrals retroactively.
5. Reward Structure
- Rewards follow the Feathers Ambassador Reward Tiers (Silver, Gold, Diamond).
- Rewards may be issued as cash-back payouts or Feathers store credit, depending on the Ambassador’s selection at registration.
- The selection made at registration is permanent unless the Ambassador formally re-registers with Feathers.
- All reward redemptions are final — no exchanges, returns, cash conversions, or substitutions.
6. Reward Timing & Payouts
- Rewards are issued quarterly and available for pickup at the Feathers Scottsdale Showroom within 30 days after the quarter ends.
- Out-of-state Ambassadors may receive payouts via ACH only. Any additional fees are the Ambassador’s responsibility.
- Ambassadors must present valid ID to claim rewards.
- No one else may pick up rewards on an Ambassador’s behalf.
When Rewards Are Earned
Rewards are granted only when:
- The order is paid in full
- The order is delivered
- No refund or reversal has occurred
7. Adjustments, Clawbacks & Refunds
If a referred sale is refunded, reversed, disputed, or canceled at any time, Feathers may:
- Deduct (“claw back”) previously issued rewards from future payouts or store credit, or
- Require repayment if rewards have already been spent.
Ambassadors understand that Feathers does not have a refund window, and clawbacks may occur at any time.
8. Ambassador Conduct & Misuse
Feathers offers this Program in good faith, expecting the same from Ambassadors. The following is not allowed:
Prohibited Activities
- Paid advertising or purchasing ads for referral links or promotion
- Offering cash, incentives, or gifts for others to use your Ambassador Name
- Posting referral information on coupon or promotion websites
- Using spam, harvested lists, or purchased email lists
- Self-referrals or creating fake customer accounts
- Misrepresenting affiliation with Feathers in any way
- Misusing store credit, including:
- Reselling store credit
- Transferring credit to others
- Using credit to pay for someone else’s order
Trade Partners
Designers and trade partners may participate, but may not claim rewards on their own client orders.
Feathers may remove Ambassadors from the Program at any time for misuse, dishonesty, or behavior inconsistent with the intent of the Program.
9. Taxes & Compliance
- Ambassadors are responsible for any taxes associated with rewards.
- Eligibility is subject to all applicable state and local laws.
10. Program Changes, Expiration & End of Program
- Feathers may change or discontinue the Program at any time without notice.
- Rewards do not expire under the active Program.
- If the Program ends, unused rewards may no longer be redeemable.
11. Relationship to Feathers
- Participation does not create an employee, agent, or contractor relationship.
- Ambassadors may not represent, bind, or negotiate on behalf of Feathers in any capacity.
12. Privacy
- Feathers will not sell or distribute Ambassador information.
- Information is used solely for Program administration, payouts, and internal recordkeeping.
13. Disputes & Final Authority
- All disputes must be raised calmly and respectfully via email, with the understanding that Feathers acts with positive intent.
- Feathers reserves the final authority to interpret and enforce these Terms.
- The Program is governed by Arizona law, and any disputes fall under Arizona jurisdiction.
